Every Sunday from late June through Labor Day, there is a Covewood campfire with s'mores, lemonade, songs and stories. All ages welcome!
Wine and cheese gatherings take place from 5:30–7 p.m. on the front porch of the Main Lodge. While adults enjoy this time together, the kids program has a cookout and slip-n-slide in the backyard. Please BYOB and an appetizer to pass for wine and cheese; hotdogs, lemonade, chips, and watermelon are provided for the kids. Wine and cheese nights for summer 2023 are:

Covewood picnics are held every other week at 12:30 p.m., followed by slip-n-slide in the yard. Please bring a dish to pass that will serve 10–12 peopls. Picnics will take place on the following dates in summer 2023:

Boat Rentals and Waterskiing
Covewood's boat rentals include sailboats, hydro-bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, motor boats, tubes, and canoes. Hourly, half-day and full-day watercraft rentals are generally available. Covewood also offers water skiing for all levels, from the "never done it before" to the accomplished slalom skier.
If dry land adventures are more to your liking, the surrounding 1300 acres of the Adirondack Park offers miles and miles of hiking. The north woods treks range from the easy to the very challenging. Detailed maps are available at the front desk.
Covewood also offers a tennis/basketball court, pool and ping pong, horseshoe pits, and the famous Covewood ring game. These activities are all complimentary.
