Henry Covey was the first cottage built at Covewood. Earl Covey, his wife, Frances, and Earl's father, Henry, lived here while the lodge was under construction. Once the main building was complete the Coveys took up residence there, and this cottage was made available for guests.
Henry Covey is a two-story structure. The first floor has a newly renovated kitchen, living room with stone fireplace, screened-in porch, and master bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a private bath. The second floor has two bedrooms (one with two twins and one with two doubles), a small sitting area, and one bath. Henry Covey has long been a favorite with Covewood's guests, largely because of its wonderful Lake views.
